Job Description

Job Description: St. Marys School is seeking an enthusiastic and highly talented middle school teacher. The successful candidate will teach social studies to students in grades 68 science to students in grades 67 and religion to grade 6. This position also includes sixth grade homeroom responsibilities. The candidate should possess a BA/BS degree (Master degree preferred) and state certification and have at least 3 years of experience. The successful candidate must also: demonstrate effective planning skills by preparing lessons aligned to state standards effectively integrate technology into instruction and learning activities develop and use multiple forms of assessment and evaluation to ensure student growth establish a system of classroom management which promotes selfdirection selfregulation and a positive selfimage maintain an active and engaging learning environment communicate professionally and effectively with students parents faculty and administrationAbout St. Marys School:St. Mary of the Annunciation School is a Catholic community of learners living the way of Christ.
