Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations:Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and union representatives ensuring open communication and collaboration.
- Union Management:Lead negotiations manage collective bargaining agreements and address laborrelated issues effectively while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- HR Strategy:Develop and implement HR strategies that align with GE Aerospaces business objectives focusing on talent acquisition retention and development.
- Compliance:Ensure adherence to local labor laws company policies and industry standards.
- Performance Management:Oversee performance management processes including goal setting evaluations and development plans.
- Training & Development:Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Workforce Planning:Collaborate with leadership to forecast workforce needs and develop staffing plans.
- Change Management:Support organizational change initiatives ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication.
- HR Metrics:Monitor and report on HR metrics to drive continuous improvement and support decisionmaking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Extensive HR management experience with a focus on unionised environments.
- Strong knowledge of Romanian labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in collective bargaining and union negotiations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders.
- Strong problemsolving and conflictresolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in HR systems and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Certification in HR (e.g. SHRM CIPD).
