Job Description

Nova Scotia Sales Representative (Account manager)

Next Sales and Marketing is a Halifax Nova Scotia based agency that represents the industrys leading electrical manufacturers and their products throughout Atlantic Canada. Our focus is on providing solutions for our customers by representing first in class electrical products from our innovative manufacturers. We build a sales channel for electrical products by creating a demand through our customer network of Architects Interior Designers Home Builders Electrical Engineers Distributors Contractors Business owners & Developers.Next Sales and Marketing is a member of CEMRA (Canadian Electrical Manufacturers Representative Association) Electrofed and NEMRA

Summary:

Candidates work as ambassadors and are responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers based within Nova Scotia. They must build trust and act as support for prospects ensuring they lead to potential future sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel within Nova Scotia to meet prospects and customers
  • Travel within North America for manufacturer training
  • Conduct calls and facetoface meetings with customers daily
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
  • Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
  • Sell the companys products or services to customers within your given territory
  • Monitor the companys industry competitors new products and market conditions to understand a customers specific needs
  • Work closely with marketing department to help build the brand

Qualifications:

Technical degree or secondary education preferred ( New Graduates welcome and training provided)

Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication organization and problemsolving skills.

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications

Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Excellent negotiation skills interpersonal skills and ability to drive decisions with influence.

Equivalent experience in the industry with a strong sales background will be given serious consideration.

Marketing and social media experience an asset
