We are seeking a customerfocused FullTime Seasonal Retail Sales Associate/Cashier. Position Summary:
The Retail Sales Associate/Cashier is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting customers with product selection completing sales transactions and maintaining a clean and organized retail environment. This position requires a friendly professional demeanor strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced setting. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people is comfortable operating a cash register and is committed to creating a positive shopping experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers with product selection pricing and general questions
Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and sales floor
Restock merchandise and ensure displays are neat and appealing
Stay informed about current promotions product details and store policies
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth retail experience
Requirements:
Must be available to work weekends and some holidays
Fulltime availability required (approximately 40 hours/week)
Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
Friendly professional attitude with strong communication skills
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting up to 20 lbs.
