Job Description
- Create and maintain a safe nurturing and engaging learning environment.
- Implement The Learning Experiences proprietary curriculum and support childrens individual learning needs.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times.
- Build strong positive relationships with children parents and coworkers.
- Communicate with families through daily reports updates and scheduled conferences.
- Assist in maintaining classroom cleanliness organization and licensing compliance.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership to create a teamoriented supportive work environment.
- Observe and document childrens progress and behavior and participate in ongoing assessments.
- Attend staff meetings trainings and professional development opportunities as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare center or preschool.
- Must meet Texas Child Care Licensing background check and training requirements.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Passion for working with young children and a commitment to creating a positive learning experience.
- CDA (Child Development Associate) or related coursework in early childhood education.
- Experience with infant toddler or preschool age groups.
- Familiarity with curriculum implementation and classroom management.
