Job Description
We are seeking a RN - Intensive Care Unit for a 13-weeks travel/contract assignment in Utica New York. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply.
Job Details:
- Shift: 12hr Days; 6:30a-7p
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $58- $62/hr
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor assess and document patients vital signs and conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform emergency interventions including CPR and advanced life support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies procedures and safety standards.
- Must float to like units as needed.
Requirements:
- License & Certifications:
- Active NY RN License (required)
- Current AHA ACLS BLS NIHSS
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in ICU SICU CTICU Trauma ICU MS ICU or Neuro ICU (Travel experience must be documented)
- Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
- Heart experience HIGHLY preferred
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 75-mile radius qualify for travel pay.
