Responsibilities
NMEC Digital Media Custodian
Location: Bethesda MD
Fulltime onsite/no telework.
TS/SCI with CI Poly required.
Peraton is seeking a Digital Media Custodian to join our team in Bethesda MD in support of the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC). In this position you will be responsible for supporting NMECs Media Exploitation team.
Responsibilities may include:
- Develop technical documentation to include Standard of Procedures Processes Point of Contacts Workflow Guidelines and AfterAction Reports in the appropriate format.
- Ensure all documentation and content is at the appropriate classification and on identified networks for customers leadership staff partners and customers to access.
- Observe proper evidence custody and control procedures document procedures and findings in a manner suitable with Intelligence Community and Law Enforcement standards.
- Work closely with customer to identity process improvements that can be used to streamline mission operations.
- Perform administrative actions to review disseminate control and track tasks/actions through project management software.
Qualifications
Required qualifications
- Experience identifying and engaging necessary stakeholders to effectively change business processes to support workflow management initiatives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills needed to effectively collaborate in a team environment; present and explain technical information to colleagues leadership and partners.
- Ability to handle evidence safely following relevant evidence custody policies.
- Experience with Microsoft products including Office and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to provide quick solutions to issues.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph required.
- 7 years with associates degree; 5 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 3 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 0 years with PhD (additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of degree).
Desired qualifications
- Familiarity with current digital forensics techniques and terminology.
- Previous experience with database management systems (MySQL Oracle etc).
- Familiarity with IC and DoD metadata standards.
- DoD 8570 Compliant IAT Level II.
