The fulltime starting salary is normally 34226 per annum with progression available in post to 37203 per annum. (From 1 August 2025 the University will transition to a new pay structure. This role will be Grade E with the salary range of. The post holder will migrate to the appropriate salary point at that time).

Library and Learning Resources are looking to appoint one full time Library Experience Coordinatorto join our Library Experience team.
The Library Experience team serves as the first point of contact for all libraryrelated enquiries playing a crucial role in student and staff support. The team provides assistance across a range of topics from subjectspecific help to resource discovery and referencing while also ensuring that the librarys study spaces are wellmaintained and accessible. They operate across multiple campuses and offer both inperson support and the Universitys only 24/7 online chat service ensuring that users have access to help whenever they need it. Their role in maintaining the physical environment answering enquiries supporting resource discovery and signposting users to further help makes them a vital part of the Library and Learning Resources strategy.
The Library Experience Coordinator role plays a key part in shaping the student and staff experience leading frontline services across our library sites and ensuring the effective daytoday delivery of both inperson and online support. Working with other Library Experience Coordinators youll manage and support a team of Library Experience Advisors and Attendants contribute to service development and maintain an engaging and accessible library environment.

Library Experience Coordinators generally work between the core hours of 9am6pm MondayFriday. This post is based at our City Centre Campus but flexibility to work at other library sites is expected. Some hybrid working is possible.

Appointees with prior LGPS membership who wish to enter the LGPS scheme will be able to do so and will be employed by Birmingham City University directly.
