Student Loans Company is a nonprofit making Governmentowned organisation to provide loans and grants to students in universities and colleges in the UK. Since 1989 we have enabled our customers to invest in their futures by delivering secure accurate and efficient assessment payment and repayment services.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Compliance Senior to join SLC. The role holder will identify and review financial compliance obligations ensuring SLC remains compliant to the relevant policies frameworks and/or legislation. Will assist business lead on reviews of student finance related controls and processes which involve interactions with the banking systems both for payments out and repayments in. Assist with delivering continuous improvement across these processes. It also extends to the project environment for the introduction of more significant changes such as the introduction of new systems or technology where these relate to compliance or control improvement.
SLC offer a blended working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home (Thursday office day so must be available to commute and flexible for the other day).
