At CooperSurgical we are currently looking to recruit a Supplier Quality Engineer. You will part of the local quality team in Falmouth with primary focus on Supplier Quality. You will be reporting to the Sr. Quality manager based in UK. This role is placed in Falmouth Cornwall United Kingdom and is onsite.

Position
In the role of Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for supplier Quality ensuring the quality and compliance of raw materials and components sourced from suppliers. You will be
collaborating closely with suppliers procurement and production teams to resolve quality issues and ensure that materials meet the required specifications and medical device regulatory standards.
This role includes coordinating with suppliers to support the QA Manager and Supply Chain Manager during investigations and nonconformance resolutions. Additionally the Quality Engineer works with the production department to ensure compliance of finished products and goods. You will actively participate and conduct supplier audits as part of the site inspection team.

Your key responsibilities
Monitor supplier performance and perform supplier audits
Lead continuous improvement initiatives
Establish and maintain supplier scorecards to effectively monitor and communicate performance metrics
Identify supplierrelated nonconformance and identify trends
Responsible for the NonConforming Material Review Board and the disposition of nonconforming product
Root cause investigation
Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant field
25 years of experience from a similar role with a regulated manufacturer preferably within Medical Devices
Experience with supplier management
Internal/External audit experience.
Motivated problem solver with the ability to work independently.
Good communicator and team player.
Excellent attention to detail.
Sound computer literacy proficiency with Excel.
