At MBC we continue to grow and now we are looking for a Data Manager to join an international financial services firm based in London.

About MBC

We work on international projects with financial institutions fintechs and startups.

About the profile

We are looking for a profile of Data Manager with solid experience in financial services and a strong understanding of data management strategies risk controls and operational processes. The ideal candidate will have a handson approach strong analytical capabilities and experience managing a team in a datadriven environment.

Functions:

  • Oversee the collection storage organization and use of company data.

  • Ensure data accuracy integrity security and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Lead workload management and team operations.

  • Support strategic planning and performance management within the department.

  • Develop and implement data management policies procedures and improvements.

  • Manage change projects and ensure optimal process design and control implementation.

  • Supervise and coach team members ensuring continuous communication and development.

  • Manage risk and ensure effective mitigation and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in data management within financial services.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and transactional data flows.

  • Experience with sensitive/confidential data handling.

  • Excellent command of MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with SQL and big data tools (e.g. Azure).

  • Analytical mindset with experience using visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).

  • Proven people management and leadership skills.

  • Degree in a related field.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Better if you have...

  • Experience with Supply Chain Finance Payment/Cash Management or Treasury Operations.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP and CRM platforms like Salesforce.

  • Strong project/change management capabilities.

  • Assertiveness proactivity and critical thinking.

  • Empathy and ability to work in a team.

  • Learning capacity and attention to detail.

  • Customer oriented.
