Job Description
Job Summary:
We are currently hiring dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technicians (EVS Techs) to support the cleanliness safety and comfort of our healthcare environment. As part of the Environmental Services team you will be responsible for ensuring a clean sanitary and organized space for patients visitors and staff. This role is essential to maintaining high standards of infection control and environmental care in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform cleaning tasks in patient rooms hallways restrooms exam rooms and public areas.

Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping dust mopping wet mopping scrubbing stripping waxing and buffing.

Shampoo carpets and handle spill response and cleanup.

Wash walls ceilings light fixtures windows ledges and furniture as needed (may involve step stools or ladders).

Clean equipment and carts used in environmental services.

Properly collect and dispose of trash and biohazardous waste in accordance with safety protocols.

Support the discharge cleaning process and maintain occupied rooms to high standards.

Follow all infection prevention and safety procedures.

Demonstrate excellent customer service in all interactions with staff patients and visitors.
Qualifications:

Prior experience in environmental services housekeeping or janitorial work preferred (hospital or hotel experience is a plus).

Ability to read write and understand basic English.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift push or pull 30 80 lbs.

Capable of wearing required personal protective equipment and working with cleaning chemicals.

Willingness to work in all areas of a healthcare facility including confined or interstitial spaces.

(Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.)
Compensation:
-
$19.00 $24.00 per hour
(Compensation depends on experience and assigned shift.)
