Job Description
Maintenance Technician
Location: Tuskegee AL
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on building equipment and systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
- Conduct inspections of premises to identify problems and necessary repairs.
- Carry out tasks such as plumbing electrical work HVAC maintenance and general repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain an organized workspace and inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Collaborate with other staff members to address and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
- Assist in the preparation of buildings for inspections and audits.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical systems and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics and diagrams.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Handson experience with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with various building systems (HVAC electrical plumbing) is an advantage.
