Job Description
The client is looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead programs aimed at redesigning legacy software and building data authorities. You will work closely with cross-organizationally to plan and coordinate the execution of complex business needs while simultaneously keeping each team focused on meeting their own commitments. You will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive of and help design components to ensure secure software features for new products as well as maintain existing platforms.
Technical Program Managers at WFM must be capable of sorting through many competing priorities defining processes that improve execution championing engineering best practices executing with agility and succeeding in a complex and fast paced environment. Working on legacy products as well as managing and planning for future products are part of this roles responsibilities. If that challenge excites you then wed like to talk to you.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience working directly with engineering teams
- Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Technical program management experience within industry
- Experience using Agile methodology to deliver products.
- Experience with collecting requirements reviewing and help writing functional and test specifications coordinating efforts to scope schedule and deploy new features sets
- Masters degree or advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of software architecture concepts
- Experience with domain driven design test driven development and behavior driven development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills to earn trust and influence partners and teams
- Knowledge of software development process and life-cycle
- Fluency with Atlassian SCM Suite (Confluence/JIRA)
