Job Description
Position Highlights:
- Shift: 12hr Nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2688 $2880
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the MedSurg/Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
- Administer and titrate medications including Cardizem and insulin drips (for hyperglycemia not DKA).
- Care for patients receiving Phenobarbital on telemetry monitoring.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document care activities accurately and timely in the EMR (Cerner experience preferred).
- Respond to emergencies promptly and effectively.
- Maintain professional standards in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:-
Experience:
- 2 years of recent acute care experience in MedSurg/Telemetry. (Required)
- Documented travel nursing experience.
- First-time travelers will be considered if they have strong experience.
Licensure:
-
Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license. (Required)
Certifications (Required):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
