Job Description
Job Details:
- Location: Rochester NY 14621
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2740 $2920
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: 10hr Eve 1:00 PM 11:30PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform highquality MRI scans as ordered by physicians and radiologists.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures with care safety and professionalism.
- Operate MRI equipment following established protocols and safety standards.
- Screen patients and review medical history to ensure safe MRI practices (e.g. metal implants contraindications).
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure optimal imaging and patient care.
- Monitor and maintain MRI equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Provide excellent patient communication and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all imaging policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current ARRT (MRI) certification (or eligible and actively pursuing certification).
- New York State License (if applicable).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationAmerican Heart Association preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience.
- Strong knowledge of crosssectional anatomy and MRI safety standards.
- Excellent communication attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
