Position Overview:
We are looking for a Junior Safety Advisor to join the onsite team in Papendrecht. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation or interest in health and safety who is motivated to specialise in Occupational Hygiene. The client will fully support your development including funding your qualification in this area.
Tasks
- Assist in the development and implementation of HSE (Health Safety & Environment) policies
- Monitor changes in HSE legislation and provide guidance to ensure compliance
- Conduct safety measurements and risk assessments related to chemical exposure noise vibration and ergonomics
- Support lead and organise HSE activities and audits
- Investigate incidents and assist with implementing corrective actions
- Prepare and deliver regular HSE reports to management and regulatory bodies
Requirements
- HBO (Bachelors degree)
- HVK or NEBOSH certification
- Strong interest in Occupational Hygiene and willingness to pursue further qualification (supported by the employer)
- Solid understanding of Dutch health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
