Job Description
Corporate Lawyer Thames Valley (Newbury Maidenhead Swindon)
Are you a corporate lawyer looking for a new opportunity to develop your career in a forwardthinking and growing law firm We are currently seeking a Corporate Lawyer to join a dynamic business team in one of their Thames Valley offices (Newbury Maidenhead or Swindon).
Tasks
About the Role:
In this permanent fulltime position you will work closely with business owners corporates and entrepreneurs providing highquality advice on all aspects of company and corporate law. Your caseload will cover a variety of sectors including IT tech and life sciences and will include:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Management buyouts and founder exits
- Shareholders agreements
- Joint ventures and investments
- Corporate governance and partnership agreements
You will also play an active role in business development seeking new leads and building relationships with clients. As part of a collaborative team youll manage your own caseload while providing support to senior colleagues.
Requirements
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years PQE in corporate law (ideally within a corporate law firm)
- Experience with complex mergers acquisitions and private equity transactions
- Strong attention to detail excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills
- A selfstarter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
- Strong business development and clientfacing abilities
- A teamoriented approach with a focus on building trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues
