Position Overview
As a Behavior Technician you ll work directly with children with autism and other developmental needs providing 1:1 ABA therapy in their homes. You ll help them build life skills social behaviors and independence through individualized support and evidencebased care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering direct care and support during daily routines play and community activities
- Encouraging independence and skillbuilding in each session
- Following and contributing to treatment plans developed by a BCBA
- Tracking and documenting behavior data session notes and client updates
- Communicating regularly with your supervisor and participating in ongoing training and supervision
- Maintaining safety confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards
- Completing light housekeeping or transportation support as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
- Experience with children or individuals with disabilities (preferred)
- Valid driver s license auto insurance and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs remain active (standing kneeling floorsitting) and respond quickly to movement
- Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes to client homes
- Motivation to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within 90 days we provide full training
- Clear criminal background check
