Job Summary:
We are seeking a fulltime Structural Steel Detailer to lead and take ownership of the structural steel detailing in line with production and business needs. This role will review and update vendor drawings and documents to deliver errorfree deliverables and develop conpany standards for construction practice.
This role will support the project management team in providing project setup and general project administrative
support for clients in the following industries:
- Renewable Energy
- Infrastructure
- Power Generation & Transmission
- Water & Wastewater
- Mining
- Heavy Industry
- Minerals & Metals Processing
- Oil & Gas
What youll be doing:
- Review and interpret design drawings and specifications.
- Utilise 3D modelling software such as Tekla / Advance Steel.
- Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 1554 & AS/NZS 5131 relating to detailing fabrication and welding of steel structures and steel detailing construction methods and their impact on design.
- Participate enthusiastically in implementing a strong 3D CAD capability within the team.
- Develop detailed shop drawings for steel fabrication based on architectural and engineering plans.
- Scrutinise architectural and engineering drawings to understand project requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues related to detailing fabrication or construction during the design phase.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of drawings. Checking for detailing and drafting work done by others to ensure compliance and correct interpretation of design intent.
- Provide accurate quantity takeoffs and material lists.
- Collaborate with steel fabricators to address any concerns or questions related to the fabrication process.
- Prepare as built drawings from RLM.
- Prepare conceptual rigging arrangement drawings as per the companys Industries Standard.
- Arranging fabrication pack received from contractor to a folder structure as per the companys Industries Standard.
- Collaborate with structural engineers to ensure accurate detailing.
- Issue drawings to client and subsequent revisions in client/Mayfield drawing template and resolve client comments and amend drawing as required.
- Develop departmental standard drawing database structural library.
Requirements
Requirements/Skills Needed:
- Tertiary studies in structural / architectural drafting
- Extensive experience in Steel Detailing
- 3D modelling expertise in Tekla/ Advance Steel
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to delivering highquality work
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Additional Job Details:
Setup and Location: WFH/Onsite (Ortigas Alabang Pampanga and Cebu)
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ACST (7:30 AM 4:30 PM PH Time)

Requirements/Skills Needed: Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in estimation, project costing, or a similar role. Proficiency in AroFlo CRM, and Groundplan software. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Strong understanding of Australian construction practices and regulatory standards. Speak English well. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in reviewing plans and documentation. Strong IT skills with the ability to learn and adapt to various tools and systems.
