Role Overview
As a Medical Biller you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate timely billing and claim resolution. Your contributions will directly impact revenue cycle performance and support the delivery of exceptional care to every patient.

Responsibilities
Follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims
Post insurance and patient payments to accounts accurately
Review and resolve billing discrepancies and payment errors
Investigate and appeal denied claims
Reconcile ERAs and EOBs
Request and manage necessary records for claim support
Generate billing reports for management review
Maintain and update accurate patient records
Tools You ll Use

Microsoft Word & Excel
Zoom (for team meetings and communication)
Chat platform (Zoom chat Slack or similar)
Requirements
2 years of experience in medical billing preferably in a physical therapy or outpatient setting
Strong understanding of insurance processes denial management and payment posting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Techsavvy and comfortable navigating EMR platforms and spreadsheets
Reliable selfmotivated and able to work independently while staying connected to the team
Committed to accuracy followthrough and professionalism in all billing activities

Previous experience in a medical administrative role (medical assistant, medical receptionist, or similar) is preferred. Familiarity with WebPT EMR and Therabill for patient payment posting is a plus. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. High level of professionalism and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Comfortable with remote work and proficient in using virtual communication tools. Knowledge of insurance verification and pre-authorizations is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and contribute to a positive patient experience.
