Job Description
MHMR is looking for a knowledgeable and caring Licensed Therapist UM Team Lead to join our team. The Licensed Therapist UM Team Lead assists the System Director of Utilization Management in identifying utilization trends including outliers providing clinical educational and technical support in relation to UM services. This position provides oversight to daily operations and activities of Utilization Management including the authorization determination process according to the current HHSC Performance Contract Utilization Management Guidelines UM Program Manual and other applicable regulatory references. This position also consults with MHMR programs and contractors to facilitate compliance with applicable standards guidelines or other requirements.

Minimum Education: Masters Degree
Defined Education: Behavioral Health or Behavioral Science
Years Experience: Three (3) years
Defined Experience: Behavioral Health
License/Certifications: LPC LMFT or LCSW
