Job Description

The Director Transformation Office Strategy and Operations is responsible for all aspects of strategy development and execution for Fortune Brands Innovations companywide organizational transformation. This position will serve as a change management champion and a strategic thought leader working closely with senior leaders and the Transformation Office team to ensure strategic initiatives are aligned to enable the execution of our transformation goals and strategy. The Director Transformation Office will help drive speed and agility in decision making remove barriers to progress and accelerate stronger integration across business units and functions. 

Position location: Deerfield IL  Hybrid

What you will be doing: 

  • Work collaboratively with the Transformation Office team and company leaders to lead a range of strategic initiatives. Initiatives span a variety of areas including organizational transformation strategy capability/best practice sharing and postmerger integration.
  • Develop and manage to a transformation roadmap ensuring achievement of shortterm project milestones and longterm goals within specified timeline.
  • Support complex project design and implementation navigating the organizational matrix and aligning crossfunctional teams.
  • Provide guidance and support to the business teams on certain transformation initiatives and take the lead in others. Scope plan and structure the work and gain alignment with the business unit leaders on timeline and implications.
  • Understand unique business unit needs to identify best ways of implementing change across the organization.
  • Prepare and present for approval and funding development initiative proposals to senior management.
  • Provide oversight and direction of team within the Transformation Office including coaching mentoring and developing staff and providing career development opportunities. 

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in business or a related field is required. MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in corporate strategy and/or experience in a toptier management consulting environment (e.g. Big 4 or similar professional services firms) with a mix of both preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client engagements deliver strategic insights and work in fastpaced highperformance teams.
  • Experience leading large crossfunctional transformations required.
  • Experience with postacquisition integration and/or best practice sharing / capability building is preferred.

  • Proven experience in organizational effectiveness including change and process management and balance between strategic vision and handson project execution.
  • Outstanding communication skillsboth written and verbalwith a track record of influencing and presenting to stakeholders at all organizational levels including senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure work independently and collaboratively and adapt to shifting demands in dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong interpersonal skills and an established ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Highly organized with a strong focus on planning prioritization and execution to deadlines.
  • Intellectually curious and detailoriented with critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to learning and problemsolving.
  • Expertlevel proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word.


Additional Information :

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $140000 USD $220000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased sales incentive plan.
