Functional Consultant/ Senior Consultant - Supply Chain Management

The Global Consulting Delivery (GCD) organization of IFS is on the lookout for a dynamic and openminded individual to join our Energy Utilities & Resources team as a Functional Consultant/ Senior Consultant in ERP Supply Chain Management. You will be part of a global team which is dedicated to design develop and support tailormade solutions to specific business requirements of IFS customers.

As a Functional Consultant/ Senior Consultant in Supply Chain Management you will be in the forefront of consulting projects working directly with IFS customers on Cutting Edge Industry Solutions. Furthermore you will have the opportunity to work with geographically distributed teams around the globe which will give you international exposure on project implementation and commercial execution.

To be successful in the role you will have a background of successful project implementations and enjoy being the key functional expert in Supply Chain Management for the Energy Utility & Resources domain. You will be responsible for combining industry experience with IFS best practices to guide the customer through the implementation of core IFS business solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Guiding our customers to improve their business through a deep understanding of the core IFS solution and industry accelerators.
• Understanding the customers business Energy Utility & Resource industry and local/regional Supply Chain Management practices and policies.
• Acting as a trusted advisor in articulating and critically evaluating customerspecific business solutions.
• Seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
• Understanding customer business needs and guiding them in the most effective usage of IFS Products.
• Contributing to the solution definition and scope for the Supply Chain Management portion of the IFS Solution.
• Conducting customer training sessions and workshops.
• Guiding and assisting the customer with testing and Go Live cutover strategies.
• Keeping up to date with regulatory and compliance requirements of the Energy Utility & Resources domain.

Qualifications :

Essentials:

• An academic background with a bachelors or masters degree in supply chain management and Logistics or equivalent.
• Consultant: 25 years experience in working in a Supply Chain/Logistics related industry.
• Senior Consultant: 5 years experience in working in a Supply Chain/Logistics related industry.
• Strong problem solving analytical skills and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including stakeholder management negotiation and ability to influence without authority.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English and local language.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally when required.

Desirable:

• Experience in delivering IFS or any other ERP/IT projects in a relevant industry setting preferably in a similar role.
• Industryspecific knowledge from Energy Utility & Resources sector as an end user customer business consultant or a service provider.
• Previous experience in ERP or IT consulting services.
• Knowledge of IFS products or similar ERP/EAM/FSM solutions.
• Experience in a customerfacing role.
