Job Description
Summary:
Under general supervision safely performs advanced and expert level diagnoses troubleshooting repair maintenance and reconditioning of production equipment in compliance with company policies
Responsibilities:
- Follow and comply with all safety standards including Lock Out Electrical Arc Flash Fall Protection etc.
- Provide safe and timely mechanical and electrical support.
- Ability to interpret and work from complicated drawings blueprints worksheets equipment manuals and other related documents.
- Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting diagnosis and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Perform various hot work tasks.
- Orders supplies and repair items as necessary.
- Set up and operate equipment being used to make and repair parts. Examples would be a lathe drill press grinder and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
- Ability to work at heights of 100 or more.
- Ability to work in tight spaces.
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
Monday Thursday
2nd shift: 5 pm 3:30 am
Over time as needed
Qualifications :
Requirements:
- Strong English communication skills verbal written & presentation; Listening
- Office PC skills (Excel) and specific software (CMMS) involving technical skills knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems with general knowledge of electrical VFD and PLC systems.
- Understanding of spare part inventory process
- Ability to work independently.
- must be able to pass a maintenance assessment
Physical Requirements:
- Stand/ walk for a minimum of 10 hours
- Push pull lift and carry up to 50Ib
- Ability to work in a nonclimatecontrolled area
