This role is a part of our management leadership team and will report directly to our GM.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies in alignment with company goals ensuring a proactive approach to market dynamics.
- Lead the creation and execution of sales plans that align with the brand strategy anticipating market changes and adapting strategies accordingly.
- Identify market gaps and opportunities crafting strategies to address these for sustained growth and competitive advantage.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a highperforming sales team through mentorship regular training sessions and personal development programs.
- Establish clear performance expectations and provide continuous feedback to drive team excellence and individual career growth.
- Cultivate a culture of trust respect and motivation to enhance team morale and productivity.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders healthcare professionals and distributors to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Implement customer feedback systems to refine sales strategies and improve service delivery.
- Spearhead initiatives to expand customer base while maintaining strong ties with existing clients.
Performance and Financial Management:
- Monitor sales performance against targets analyzing data to identify trends risks and opportunities.
- Manage budget allocations efficiently to optimize resource use and achieve financial objectives.
- Develop and oversee incentive programs to drive sales performance and reward achievement.
Collaboration and CrossFunctional Integration:
- Work closely with marketing product development and other teams to ensure alignment on goals and strategies.
- Facilitate crossfunctional meetings to integrate sales initiatives with broader business operations.
- Leverage insights from other departments to enhance sales strategies and execution.
Operational Excellence:
- Implement best practices in sales operations focusing on process improvement efficiency and innovation.
- Ensure all sales activities adhere to AbbVies compliance standards and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications :
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Science Healthcare or Marketing disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years financial management working experience with solid 35 years in an equivalent role within pharmaceutical/medical device/OTC/Aesthetics business is ideal
- Strong business and financial acumen strategic thinking and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership qualities with an ability to manage under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
- Intermediate level of English communication skills preferred.
