Job Description
ART/INNOVATION TEACHER
JohnstownIntermediateSchool (Gr. 45) is seeking an Art Teacher for the 20252026school year with proper and current Ohio licensure. The candidate must:
Possess a valid Ohio Special K12 License in Art
- Demonstrate knowledge skill and training needed to provide instruction in all areas of Ohios Learning Standards for Art
- Establish communicate and implement clear learning progressions for all standards and lessons
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques and strategies aligned with instructional objectives to meet the needs of all students
- Develop and implement the components of effective lessons for instruction. Ensure developmentally appropriate skills and activities are implemented
- Analyze student progress and provide appropriate instruction
- Create and maintain a positive and orderly learning environment
- Participate as an active member with the elementary faculty and staff as well as with the district physical education staff
- Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law and school policy
- Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned by principal
- Have a favorable background check (FBI & BCI)
