Job Description
Overview
The Writing Center seeks to fill a vacancy for fall spring and/or summer semesters on the Uintah Basin Campus. The successful applicant will be expected to perform both facetoface tutoring as well as online live tutoring via position involves helping students become better writers.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successful completion of English 1010 and 2010.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as a desire to read and respond to student writing assignments.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Must be familiar with (or willing to learn) online tutoring interface.
- Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Selfstarter who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
