We are thrilled to announce an exciting secondment opportunity for the role of Core Engineering Technology Strategist for the EMU team at the Sanford site. This position offers a unique chance to gain valuable experience contribute to our dynamic team research new technology and help bring that technology to the site.
What You Will Achieve
As a Core Engineering Technology Strategist you will play a pivotal role in researching new technology leveraging existing network resources to bring innovative solutions to Sanford and creating a comprehensive roadmap for implementation over the next 35 years. You will collaborate closely with all departments within EMU to ensure seamless integration and support our organizational objectives.
How You Will Achieve It
Research AI Tools and Equipment:
Investigate various AI tools and equipment in the asset reliability space to identify technologies that can be brought on site focusing on preventive methods to assess equipment performance and enhance reliability at the site.
Collaborate on AI Technology for Net Zero Goals:
Work closely with the Plant/Utility Engineering team and abovesite Global engineering support to determine the AI tools or technologies needed contributing to initiatives aimed at achieving the sites Net Zero goal.
Develop Training Tools and Job Aids:
Learn and utilize current Pfizer AI tools around the EAMs system creating training tools and job aids to improve the efficiency of writing quarterly/yearly reports for the Core Engineering team.
Implement New Technology Tools for Core Engineering :
Start the implementation of new technology tools in the Reliability Engineering space to proactively monitor equipment health and ensure optimal performance. Additionally implement AI or other advanced tools to optimize maintenance scheduling and planning enhancing overall efficiency and reliability.
Budget Planning and ROI Analysis
Conduct Cost and ROI analysis to determine upfront costs of technology and tools assess their impact on department budgets and estimate ROI to justify various options.
These responsibilities will ensure that the role is aligned with the strategic objectives of researching new technology leveraging existing resources and creating a roadmap for implementation while collaborating with various departments within EMU.
Qualifications
MustHave
Applicant must have a bachelors degree with at least 3 years ofexperience; OR a masters degree with more than 1 year of experience;OR an associates degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high schooldiploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical planning and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

If you are currently in a driving position with a fleet vehicle and this secondment does not require driving as an essential function of the position for12 months or longer you will be required to turn in your fleet vehicle for the duration of the nondriving secondment. There will be no change to your current work location.
Position is considered Flexible and colleagues are expected to comply with Log In For Your Day(LIFYD) requirements at site location (e.g. about 2.5 days a week in office).
Note: This secondment offers a valuable opportunity for professional growth. It will need to be funded by the secondees home market.
