Key Responsibilities:
KBR is seeking a Knowledge Systems Lead to join our team in Alexandria VA area to support onsite mission engineering analysis and integration expertise to produce objective insights and analytic justification to inform future technology and capability investment decisions within the Planning Programming and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) process and aid in the prioritization alignment and validation of requirements within Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) to deliver modernized capabilities that enable an all domain joint force aligned with future Joint Warfighting Conceptsin support of the Office of the Undersecretary for Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) Mission Integration.
As the Knowledge Systems Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the organizations knowledge management implementation ensuring that information is effectively captured organized and shared across the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Mission Integration (ODASD(MI)). This role requires a combination of technical proficiency strong communication skills and the ability to lead knowledge management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead Mission Integration (MI) Divisions Knowledge Systems Strategy that enhances the accessibility and usability of largescale structured and unstructured data assets for implementation on unclassified and classified information systems.
Implement taxonomy metadata and data catalog standards to improve discoverability and data trust.
Facilitate and promote a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration across various teams and departments.
Lead knowledge system and management projects from planning to execution.
Develop and manage training programs to enhance knowledge management skills across the organization.
Ability to advise on implementation of Records Management guidance.
Develop and manage governance structures to ensure compliance and standardization in knowledge management best practices.
Develop maintain curate and administer access for the content of knowledge management systems. Content includes data models architectures and other mission engineering artifacts.
Coordinate with Ecosystem lead to ensure equities are established by identifying evaluating and supporting implementation of knowledge management tools to enhance knowledge management implementation within unclassified and classified information systems.
Coordinate with external organizations implementing similar knowledge management systems to determine Mission Integration equities integration challenges and potential future migration planning.

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors in Information Science Data Science Knowledge Management Computer Science or related field
7 years in Knowledge Systems Knowledge Management or Data Governance roles.
Proven experience managing large complex data ecosystems and distributed data sources.
Experience working with structured and unstructured data across diverse platforms.
Track record of developing and leading strategies for organizations with big data needs.
Must have an active U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance
Desired:
Masters in Engineering Computer Science or Mathematics
Expertise in APQC Knowledge Management best practices
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS Azure GCP) APIs and data interoperability protocols.
Certifications such as CKM CDMP or CIP.
