Copy and paste the link to watch our video to learn more about our Manager position: Newport Naval Station Newport RISHIFT: 6:00pm 2:30am SITE: Newport Naval Station Commissary (Grocery Store) Are you an enthusiastic and proactive leader who thrives in fastpaced environments CW Resources is seeking an ambitious 3rd Shift Commissary Operational/Project Supervisor who is ready to roll up their sleeves and take charge! In this handson role you will not only manage and supervise a dedicated team but also play an active role in the daytoday operations that ensure we consistently meet our highquality standards.
What Youll Do:
- Lead a Dedicated Team:
- Supervise and support a team of individuals with disabilities ensuring they provide exceptional service to a military grocery store.
- HandsOn Leadership:
- Be ready to dive in and perform manual labor alongside your teamwhether thats moving products setting up displays or handling equipment.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Youll be directly involved in ensuring the store is operating smoothly including lifting bending pulling and assisting with tasks to meet deadlines and project goals.
- Team Development:
- Recruit train and supervise staff ensuring they have the tools to deliver excellent customer service and operate efficiently.
- Flexible Hours & ProblemSolving:
- Adapt to changing schedules and shift requirements while tackling any operational challenges that arise.
- Payroll & Attendance:
- Maintain and track employee attendance ensure accurate payroll records and compute any necessary adjustments.
- Store & Warehouse Organization:
- Oversee store cleanliness manage inventory and ensure shelves are stocked rotated and products are wellorganized and ready for sale.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed maintain compliance with food safety standards health codes military regulations and uphold the security and confidentiality of company data.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of (2) years supervisory or Team Lead experience (Preferred).
- Minimum of (3) years experience working in a grocery store or warehouse as a Stocker Store Associate or similar role. (Preferred)
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Experience in managing daytoday operations scheduling and overseeing team performance.
- Familiarity with Outlook SharePoint Word and Excel is preferred.
- A strong commitment to maintaining high levels of service quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to coach mentor and develop team members to their fullest potential.
Physical Demands:
- Lifting bending pulling pushing moving and reaching for products equipment and supplies.
- Repetitive movements to engage in tasks such as stocking shelves organizing inventory and setting up displays.
- Required to use hands for handling sorting and arranging various store items as well as working with equipment and tools.
- Ability to stand walk and engage in physical tasks for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Reasonable accommodations can be made.
Environmental Demands:
- Work is performed primarily in a military base environment.
- Work in a fastpaced grocery store environment often requiring adaptation to changing conditions.
- Exposure to cooler temperatures in certain areas of the store such as refrigerators and stockrooms as well as potential warmer environments in other sections.
- Work in warehouse areas that may have tight spaces aisles or elevated shelving systems.
- Depending on operational needs there may be exposure to cleaning chemicals used to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the store.
