Job Description

Position Summary:
As a OS&D (Over Short & Damage) Clerk you will be tasked with performing quality control inspections on our freight shipments. This includes fielding calls about delivery discrepancies and contacting customers to resolve problems.
Pay: $19 per hour shift differential
Schedule: 4:30 PM ; Sunday Thursday
The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Fielding calls from Drivers regarding delivery discrepancies
- Contacting customers and other terminals to resolve OS&D problems
- Assisting in projects as needed by terminal management
- Scanning and typing OS&D related bills
- Assisting in inspecting and tagging OS&D freight on the dock
- Providing backup to appointments and bring backs
To be qualified for this position you must possess the following:
- Ability to interface effectively with Pyle personnel and customers
- Strong communication skills; ability to demonstrate a customer first mentality
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous dock and or warehouse operations experience preferred
