Job Description
Key purpose:
The Technician specializing in auto and truck repairs will report to the Workshop Manager and will be responsible for training and managing the maintenance team dedicated to trucks and trailers. He will be responsible for the teams performance in this area and for the organization of the area means and activities. The job is based in Angola.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair problems in the engine hydraulic system and other components of trucks and trailers
- Plan and perform preventive maintenance on equipment
- Develop and maintain records of preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Organise tasks priorities and area of action
- Build and lead teams
- Communicate effectively in verbal and written form
Qualifications and experience:
- Minimum experience of 8 years in diagnosis and repair of Mercedes trucks
- Experience in diagnosis and repair of trailers
- Possess required licenses and certificates
- Proficiency in handling diagnostic equipment and software and test equipment
- Ability to read and follow instructions manuals mechanical hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Organisational and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft SAP IT tools
