Job Description
Were seeking a Azure architect for a fastest growing digital technology service provider a digitally native fullservice digital transformation services. This is a full time opportunity based in clients Bengaluru office India. Our client is leading IT services and digital transformation company with global presence and a annual revenue of $1B.
Work Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai/Gurgaon
Mode of Work: Hybrid
Primary Skill: Advance SQL Azure Databrick ADF Synapse Good to have Fabric
Technical Capacity:
- A data architect experienced in designing and implementing endtoend data solutions on Azure & Databricks Lakehouse Platform leveraging Delta Lake Spark and Unity Catalog.
- Design and enforce scalable Medallion Architectures (Bronze Silver Gold layers) for structured and unstructured data pipelines.
- Define and implement CDC (Change Data Capture) strategies using Delta Live Tables (DLT) and autoloader for realtime and batch ingestion.
- Hands on experience with photon and interactive dashboards Knowledge on Databricks Genie
- Collaborate with business stakeholders data engineers and analysts to understand requirements and translate them into robust data models.
- Implement and govern data quality security lineage and access controls using Unity Catalog and related tools.
- Optimize Spark jobs and tune cluster performance for highthroughput data processing.
- Define and enforce data governance best practices and reusable frameworks for ingestion transformation and consumption.
- Mentor the team members and provide architectural guidance to engineering teams.
- Design and implement scalable and resilient Databricks solutions.
- Analyze and ensure that proper monitoring and alerting systems are in place for systems services and applications
- Evaluate and recommend Azure services based on business requirements and industry best practices
- Leads technical discussions and presentations with client internal teams and stakeholders
Management and Leadership:
- Participates in the development of the departments strategic plans training materials and tools
- Effectively trains and mentors team on Chemonics tools and systems
- Facilitates meetings and is responsible for developing agendas to achieve stated group goals documenting progress agreements and issues and providing follow up assistance to groups
- Demonstrates leadership versatility and integrity
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required
Requirements:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the required knowledge skills and/or abilities needed to perform the principal duties.
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 810 years experience in enterprise cloud architecture in medium to large companies
- Professional certification in Azure or Databricks such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Databricks certified professional or similar preferred
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies business drivers and emerging computing trends
- Proficient in Azure services including but not limited to Azure Data Factory Azure Functions Data flow Logic Apps VMs Azure App Services Azure Kubernetes Synapse Azure storage account and Azure SQL Database
- Hands on experience with Databricks features including but not limited to Delta live tables Autoloader Unity Catalog Photon Interactive dashboard Change feed PySpark optimization techniques
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to solve technical managerial or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information resources wellrounded experience and knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing and lead presentations training courses and effective meetings
- Demonstrated leadership versatility and integrity
