Director Product ManagerWhat does a successful Director Product Manager do at Fiserv
As a Director Product Manager you will lead and support interlock activities and panFiserv initiatives across multiple product management and business unit organizations while building investment cases in order to realize returns on market opportunities. You will collaborate with Architecture Development and Delivery teams to achieve desired outcomes through successful delivery of the product roadmap while developing pricing and positioning strategies. You will also partner with Sales and Marketing teams to achieve desired outcomes through successful channel management adoption and marketing activities.
What you will do:
- Work with support and operational representatives to ensure client satisfaction
- Prioritize incoming work to identify areas of focus for future delivery
- Apply aspects of the Pragmatic Marketing Framework to the role including identification and solutioning for market problems build/buy/partner decisions and gotomarket activities
- Communicate strategic direction to clients prospects and other team members
- Function as a trusted partner and subject matter expert for clients prospects and other key team members
- Showcase your experience and proficiency in product management standards and practices with particular appreciation for the endtoend product management discipline
- Use your ability to understand complex business and technical concepts and to be able to make balanced judgments when faced with tradeoffs
- Utilize your communication and presentation skills to interact and influence all levels of the organization
What you will need to have:
- 7 years of experience in technology/software related product management or financial services product management
- 5 years of experience in core banking financial banking services (DNA)
- 5 years of experience with pricing and finance
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
- Bachelors degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
What would be great to have:
- Experience working effectively with geographically distributed teams
- Combination of strong business and technical acumen
- Masters degree in Pragmatic Marketing Business or related field of study
