Job Description

Curtis Media Group is looking for an experienced and driven Local Sales Manager to join our leadership team. This role is perfect for a motivated business professional who is deeply connected to the Greenville community and passionate about digital and radio advertising. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership revenue growth and team development.

The Local Sales Manager will lead a team of highperformance sellers and drive all sales efforts in the Greenville market. As a key leader in Greenville this position will be recognized as the direct contact to local business organizations to further the presence of Curtis Media in the Greenville area.

This position will be responsible for leading the sales staff in terrestrial digital live event sales and Big Deals. This person will work closely with the General Manager to create unique and valuable cross platform content driven campaigns for our customers. The position requires years of advertising experience and strong leadership/interpersonal skills with the presence to lead others and enhance overall revenues. The Local Sales Manager will use independent judgment and discretion to develop strategies to attain sales revenue and goals. This position reports to the General Manager.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • An experienced Business Professional that will participate as a key member of the leadership team.
  • Key Leader loyal to the Greenville community and to the digital and radio advertising industry.
  • Lead a team of people to develop business by qualifying advertisers doing CNAs and presenting solutions to businesses.
  • Build and grow your own portfolio of business $20k in billing per month is expected.
  • Retain and support A Players constant recruiting and filling the bench and grow new sellers on the team.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve set goals and take us to new heights.
  • Responsible for maximizing client revenue opportunities with ongoing account list management.
  • Daily onstreet presence meeting with prospects and clients assisting AEs with presentations and infield coaching.
  • Direct forecasting. Set and hold Account Executives accountable in achieving their goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
  • Be active in the community through networking opportunities but still focused on driving revenue.
  • Track revenue and pacing to annual goals.
  • Conduct weekly one on ones with the sales staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
