Job Description

At NTS Drachten we are looking for an ambitious and driven Sales Manager who can make a strategic and operational impact. You will be responsible for the commercial performance and lead the sales operations at our Drachten site. This role combines team leadership with direct involvement in both strategic and local customer accounts.

Furthermore your key responsibilities are:

  • Jointly responsible (with the Managing Director) for revenue margin and customer satisfaction at the Drachten location.

  • Manage strategic and local accounts in close collaboration with your team and Global Account Managers.

  • Develop and execute growth plans for both strategic and local customers.

  • Translate our technological expertise such as ultra-precision machining into compelling customer value propositions.

  • Set up and oversee local sales operations (quotations contract management order processing cost control) and ensure seamless execution.

  • Align processes standards and customer approach with other NTS sites and headquarters in Eindhoven.

  • Identify market and customer trends and actively pursue new business opportunities to drive site growth.

  • Shape strategic and tactical direction for the Drachten site and contribute to the broader NTS Group strategy.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters level education (HBO/WO) preferably in a technical field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial leadership role within a high-tech environment.

  • Experience in high-tech manufacturing ideally in ultra-precision machining or opto-mechatronics is an advantage.

  • Ability to translate technology into customer value and business growth.

  • Strong commercial communication and interpersonal skills in both Dutch and English.

  • Customer-focused structured and result-oriented.

  • Comfortable switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
