The Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) serves as regulatory body for all gambling activities across the state of Illinois. Our mission is to preserve the integrity of the Illinois gaming industry. The agency administers a regulatory and tax collection system for casino gambling video gaming and sports wagering in Illinois Gaming Board is committed to creating a diverse work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

Gaming Shift Supervisor

  1. Pass Illinois Gaming Boards background investigation. (Background check).
  2. Pass an approved firearms qualifications course and have a valid Firearm Owners Identification Card (FOID).
  3. Possess sufficient physical fitness to have passed the Peace Officer Wellness Evaluation Report (Power Test).
  4. Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties with overnight stays as appropriate.
  5. Requires appropriate valid drivers license.
  6. Overtime is a condition of employment and you may be requested or required to work overtime including scheduled unscheduled or lastminute overtime. This requires the ability to work evenings and weekends.
  7. Must comply with the State Officials and Employees Ethics Act: No State employee who works for the Illinois Gaming Board or spouse or immediate family member living with such person shall during State employment hold an ownership interest in other than a passive interest in a publicly traded company in any gaming license under the Illinois Gambling Act the Video Gaming Act the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975 or the Sports Wagering Act.
  8. Must comply with the Illinois Gambling Act: No person shall be employed to serve the Board who is or whose spouse parent or child is an official of or has a financial interest in or financial relation with any operator engaged in gambling operations within this State or any organization engaged in conducting horse racing within this State.
  9. Must comply with the Illinois Gambling Act: For the one year immediately preceding employment an employee shall not have been employed or received compensation or fees for services from a person or entity or its parent or affiliate that has engaged in business with the Board a licensee or a licensee under the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975.
