Job Description
Our esteemed client an established MNC is searching for an Assistant Engineer:
Job Responsibilities
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging and conveying equipment facilities and electrical systems.
- Supervise mechanical and electrical fault troubleshooting across pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Ensure prompt response to equipment breakdowns and facilitate rapid recovery of operations.
- Utilise Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to monitor parts failures and plan maintenance strategies.
- Plan and coordinate shutdown maintenance activities and vendor engagements for fabrication works.
- Define and manage equipment critical spares inventory.
- Lead the commissioning process and documentation of new equipment installations.
- Prepare detailed maintenance reports and present findings to management.
- Drive root cause analysis and collaborate with operations to reduce downtime.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence projects.
- Coach and mentor junior technicians and ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures.
- Procure replacement parts from approved vendors when needed.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Solid knowledge of AC drives motors pneumatic systems and conveyor technologies.
- Ability to read and use electrical singleline diagrams.
- Proficient in debugging and modifying PLC programs and familiar with low voltage distribution boards (DB).
- At least 3 years of handson experience in automation system maintenance.
- Willing and able to work 12hour rotating shifts and respond to standby duties when necessary.
- Strong leadership analytical and documentation skills.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 3500 VB (1.5 Months)
- Working Location: Jurong Island
- Shift Hours: Day Shift 8am to 8pm Night Shift 8pm to 8am
- Company Transport is provided.
