Electrician: Air Conditioning Technician (Buses)
We are looking for a skilled and reliable AC Technician to join our fleet maintenance team specializing in the inspection repair and maintenance of air conditioning systems in buses. The ideal candidate will have handson experience working with HVAC systems in heavy vehicles with a strong focus on diagnostics performance testing and system optimization.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Inspect diagnose and repair air conditioning systems in buses
Conduct routine maintenance and preventative checks on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Recharge AC systems with refrigerants and ensure proper pressure levels
Conducting general maintenance service and repair duties on electrics efficiently.
Ensuring that bus diagnostics and repairs meet safety and reliability standards and comply with government regulations.
Training and assisting SemiSkilled workers as required.
Collaborating closely with other Mechanics Panel Beaters and workshop staff members.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace and ensuring proper management of hazardous waste.
Adhering to established policies and procedures including those related to security health and safety data protection ecofriendly practices and quality assurance.
Completing job cards work orders or any other jobrelated documentation to ensure thorough traceability.
Any other duties related to the job position that may be required depending on the exigencies of the business at the time
Requirements:
Three (3) years working experience in Air conditional maintenance and repair of both buses or trucks
Proficiency experience with diagnostic tools and equipment for electrical tasks.
