We have an opportunity for a Team Leader to join our new Connect to Work supported employment programme introduced as part of the new National Connect to Work programme in the Autumn 2024 budget.
As the Connect to Work Team Leader you will lead the Operational Delivery and performance of the Connect to Work Programme team providing specialist employment support to members of the community across Swindon and Wiltshire. You will be overseeing the teams caseload and the maintenance and development of systems and processes for the Connect to Work team.
As Team Leader you will monitor team performance in line with service delivery expectations and KPIs identifying areas for improvement and producing and presenting reports on a monthly and quarterly basis forappropriate forums and will need collaborate effectively with employers and colleagues within the council and council networks to maximise opportunities for participants. The Team Leader will also work collaboratively with other delivery teams across and within the local delivery area.
Our ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or have extensive demonstrable experience in a relevant field. You will hold a Level 4 management qualification or relevant experience in a management role. To excel in this role an indepth understand of Supported Employment with knowledge of inclusive recruitment the employment system job matching and the barriers faced by hardtoreach groups will be required. Your talent in developing strong relationships collaborative approaches and engaging with a diverse range of external stakeholders will also be essential.
