PRN 1st and 2nd shift

We are currently seeking a Security Guard to join our team!If you are looking to make a difference wed love to talk to you!
This Security Guard oversees and maintains the overall safety and security of residents team members visitors and buildings in the community. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Makes repeated security and safety rounds inside and outside of community buildings
- Follows security schedules and job routines
- Clearly & concisely communicates in a professional courteous and pleasant manner with all residents visitors & team members
- Quickly accurately and appropriately interprets and responds to residents urgent care needs and dispatch appropriate response(s) to calls for assistance
- Uses personal computers and programs tied to the campus emergency response system
- Works in conjunction with SARA system
- Uses equipment daily including vehicles radios computers carts phones computers
- Complies with infection control regulations guidelines and policies
- Assists in inservicing relating to security such as fire drills emergency evacuation
- Maintains appropriate logs and records in a timely and accurate fashion
Minimum Qualifications:
- COVID19 vaccination or medical/religious exemption required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service setting as security or related field is preferred
- Must be able to read write and follow written and verbal directions and converse in English
- Valid drivers license with a clean background
- Must be able to relate to the needs and concerns of senior adults
