Position Responsibilities:
In this position youll be responsible for PreAdmission Testing and Patient Education for our surgical patients. Youll document assessment findings and provide preoperative coordination of records in order to provide safe surgical care as well as provide patient education that is essential to an efficient and safe surgical experience. ORA holds all of our staff members accountable for providing high level care maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. As a member of our ASC team youre actively involved in working closely with our patients and guiding them through their surgical procedures and care.
Requirements:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent as well as an active RN license in the state of Illinois. Previous experience that would lend to appropriately preparing and educating a patient for surgery is required. A successful candidate will display excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills strong ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients and their families. This candidate must have the ability to travel to both of ORAs ASC locations as needed.
