Job Description
Amazons North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance is looking for a Finance Manager to drive productivity reporting for our fulfillment centers. The Central Ops Reporting team builds the next generation of reporting processes systems and tools to improve the quality reliability and scalability of our productivity reporting.
Key job responsibilities
The Central Ops Reporting team seeks a Finance leader to partner with the Operations Supply Chain Retail and Strategy Teams to drive an agenda of optimization efficiency and insights across North America Customer Fulfillment. This is a unique opportunity to oversee a vast network of fulfillment centers and coordinate initiatives that span across multiple organizations and stakeholders with high visibility to senior leadership. A day in the life
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
They influence business owners support thoughtful decisionmaking and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment.
They collaborate with executives and various business units across Amazon.
They bring excellent verbal and written communication skills.
They prioritize the most impactful projects and programs that will drive insightful productivity reporting forward.
5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
5 years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
6 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
6 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decisionmaking experience
6 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
6 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
Bachelors degree in engineering statistics or business or Bachelors degree and 5 years of quantitative role (engineering process reengineering quality assurance) experience
6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
