Babel Street is seeking an experienced and energetic CRM Systems Manager to lead the administration and evolution of our Salesforce ecosystem and its integrationsincluding Spiff Mulesoft and other enterprise platforms. This role is pivotal in aligning our CRM infrastructure with strategic business objectives enabling seamless data flow and empowering decisionmaking across Sales Marketing Customer Experience and IT.
As part of the Operations team youll work closely with senior leadership and department heads to ensure our systems support scalable growth data integrity and operational efficiency.
This role will work East Coast business hours. Ideal candidate is in DC area but this could be a remote position as well.
What you will do:
- Support and manage all requirements associated with both the CRM and marketing automation tool.
- Independently make CRM configuration and marketing automation updates as needed.
- Work with the company IT team to ensure the highest standards of information and network security.
- Support interoperability of the CRM with sister systems supporting other components of the company including but not limited to the marketing automation solution.
- Take responsibility for and regularly audit the quality of data inputs into the CRM and marketing tools in order to optimize the quality of data driving the sales organization and KPI assessments.
- Create update and regularly produce dashboards and reporting for the sales and executive leadership teams based on established KPIs.
- Update reporting regularly based on stakeholder feedback.
- Conduct training and support for internal CRM users.
- Manage the CRM (and sister applications) user base supporting credentialing onboarding training and ad hoc requests.
- Serve as the first line of support for the companys CRM use; directing employees directly to the CRM company support system is not desired.
- Support use of the CRM quoting tool as may be required.
- Facilitate and independently support all requirements related to CRM outputs sent to the Customer Experience team.
- Ensure CRM and marketing automation configuration supports continually iterative business requirements.
- Consult regularly with system users to gather feedback and prepare recommendations for updates.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting requirements in an effective and timeefficient manner.
- Support early to latestage data transfers from legacy systems as may be required as well as support CRM implementation.
- Manage the Customer Community associated with the CRM.
- Assist in developing the overall strategy for CRM for Babel Street.
What you will bring to Babel Street
- Ability to translate executive and team leader guidance into action.
- Must have knowledge and experience with Salesforce capabilities constraints best practices and design patterns.
- Must be able to configure and make changes to Salesforce to support iterative business requirements.
- Must have knowledge and experience with Pardot
- Must be able to configure and make changes to Pardot to support iterative business requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills a must; regular and effective communication with internal users and consumers is a critical aspect of this position.
- Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud/Pardot experience required.
- Must have strong technical and problem resolution skills.
- Proven ability to instruct new users on new and existing platforms
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines and be proactive when working on tasks.
- Experience presenting to business stakeholders
- Ability to communicate clearly efficiently and persuasively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Responsible for staff development and training programs.
- Experience with CPQ and Jumpstart.
- Ability to think strategically while rolling up your sleeves and managing details.
- Experience with applying a design thinking approach.
- Ability to think critically solve problems make decisions and build trust across the organization.
- Good understanding of technical equipment and software packages.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
- Must possess strong administrative and time/project management skills.
- Effective organizational interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Strong ability to find solutions and execute; this is not a consultant position.
- Project management experience desired.
Education & Experience
- 3 years of handson Salesforce experience
- Preference for Certified Platform App Developer Certified Platform Developer I or II.
- Completion of full IT projects from initiation delivery to support required.
- Salesforce integration experience preferred including between different business systems as well as working with integration tools including Pardot.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in computer business or related field along with a minimum of five years experience in related role(s).
- PMP or CAPM a plus.
