Job Description
Support the Naval Sea Systems Command Code 03S (NAVSEA 03S) Digital Industrial Operations (DIO) efforts concerning information technology services in support of the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) Program.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • May lead and direct the work of others.
  • Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
  • Applies testfirst practices including TestDriven Development (TDD) for unit tests and BehaviorDriven Development (BDD) for automated acceptance tests.
  • Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts. Translates detailed design into computer software code.
  • Tests debugs and refines the computer software to produce the required product. Prepares required documentation including both programlevel and userlevel documentation.
  • Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. Provides technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
  • Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures
Desired:

Education: BS in STEM and minimum of 12 years of applicable experience

Years Experience:Experience with IT and Cybersecurity

Physical and Environmental Conditions:
  • Normal Office Environment. Requires Sitting Standing Near Acuity Speaking with colleagues and customers Listening Sight Use of hands/fingers.
