Principal Purpose of Position:

  • Provide backend overflow call support for the Truck Account Administrator team to address maintenance related escalations.
  • Coordinates with fleet managers vendors and manufacturers to ascertain the most effective resolution to truck malfunctions
  • As the technical expert act as a consultant to fleet managers service technicians and other internal department personnel for complex escalations
  • Reviews and issues nonstandard purchase orders to ensure that the customers best interests are protected.
  • Support the technical resource center by assisting customers and vendors as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Training:

  • Four year college degree or demonstrated equivalent experience as determined by department management.
  • ASE or other industry certification preferred
  • Strong Automotive Mechanical knowledge necessary

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Three to five years of experience in the automotive or transportation industry with advanced technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of fleet management preferred

Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge:

  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions
  • Problem solving skills
  • Advanced analytic abilities to make independent decisions and justify the financial outcomes.

Communicating & Influencing Skills:

  • Ability to interact and work with employees at all levels of an organization (internal or external) including business units and executive management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex concepts to nonspecialists
  • Ability to negotiate

Outputs:

  • Answer overflow calls for the Truck Account Administrator team to provide direction for assigned accounts
  • Provide administrative support to the Truck Account Administrator team when needed
  • Work on client specific projects as assigned

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with jobrelated skills experience relevant education or training and geographic location starting in the range of $50650.00 $73445.00 CAD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
