About the team
The Risk and Compliance (R&C) function has responsibility for enabling the Group to manage the risks associated with their respective area of focus in line with the Groups risk appetite. In that support the R&C function will enable the success of the business by instilling a culture of risk management as a core part of how we support our customers and ensure that we have the appropriate processes and practices to meet our compliance obligations.
About the role
As Retail Risk & Compliance Services Manager and reporting to the Senior Manager Change & Improvement you will be responsible for key matters in relation to the efficient and timely facilitation of various Divisional Risk Committees and Remediation Governance Committee meetings.
Youll get to:
Facilitate and coordinate meetings including preparing meeting agendas and minutes
Circulate action items and maintain action register & SharePoint
Coordinate the distribution of required documentation to relevant stakeholders
Work closely and build effective relationships with the Heads of Risk Divisional Risk Teams Centres of Expertise Group Regulatory Compliance FCR Group Operational Risk Executives and Executive Assistance to enhance the development of a strong risk and compliance culture
This is 6month secondment opportunity ideally located at one of our corporate offices in Melbourne Adelaide Bendigo or Sydney but open to location for a strong candidate
About you
To be successful you will have
Demonstrated experience in coordination and administrative functions supporting senior and executive stakeholders
Sound understanding of Operational Risk within Banking and Financial Services preferred
Experience in endtoend coordination of committee meetings ideal
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong organisational and planning skills with a high attention to detail
Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
Highly proficient in MS Office Excel and Project
Tertiary qualifications in Business Finance Banking or related discipline preferred
