PTS Advance is looking for an Assistant Project Manager / Quality Control Manager to join a great Design and Construction firm specializing in electrical transmission and distribution projects.
In this role you will play a primary role in the testing and inspections of power distribution equipment and plans as well as the overall management of assigned projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Report to the job site daily while crews are active typically maintaining a MondayFriday schedule with occasional weekend work as needed.
Participate in all onsite meetings with subcontractors and the Project Manager.
Support the Project Manager in upholding project quality standards and maintaining accurate documentation.
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to confirm timely delivery of materials and completion of services in accordance with project quality assurance requirements.
Assist the Project Manager and/or General Foreman in managing and maintaining the latest project drawings on site ensuring all asbuilt documentation is current and accurate.
Collaborate with testing laboratories to verify that construction materials and environmental standards meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and submit redline asbuilt drawings and final project documentation to ensure complete and compliant project closeout.
Participate in the commissioning and testing of substation components including transformers circuit breakers and switches.
Ensure adherence to Miller Bros and customerspecific quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure assigned projects are on schedule and communicate necessary updates to all relevant parties.
Job Qualifications:
Associate or bachelors degree in electrical Engineer preferred
Strong competency in Microsoft Office and associated programs
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong organization skills and experience working with project management software.
Compensation:$60000 $75000 (Annual)
