Job Description
Sanitation Worker 1st Shift (Warehouse)
Location: Walford IA
Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Job Type: FullTime
Pay: 16.00 per hour Approximately 1400 per month
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
DES Employment Group is currently hiring a Sanitation Worker for a fulltime 1st shift warehouse position in Walford IA. This is a great opportunity to join a stable and supportive company environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning tasks in office areas warehouse storage racks and restrooms
Sweep dust mop empty trash and scrub floors as needed
Assist with special projects such as painting or general maintenance
Maintain a safe work environment with awareness of forklift and warehouse traffic
Clear snow and ice from walkways and exit doors during winter
Work Conditions:
Warehouse environment may be dusty dry and humid
Temperatures range from 40F to 90F
Some odors may be present depending on stored products
Potential exposure to food allergens
May be required to work in outdoor conditions including cold heat and humidity
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stoop walk and bend throughout the shift
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must pass a background check
